Hey yall, My friend Leslie and her mom came up this weekend to visit and I must say it was nice to hear some beautiful southern accents for a change of pace. After hanging out with them I called "The Phil" (I think Im going to refer to him like that for now on...I dont know why but....I just want to) and we saw No country for Old Men...I have never been so confused at a movie but yet I was enthralled all at the same time!!! It was beautiful movie and it made sense but a few of the events that took place left me thinking.."Huh?". We met a guy that said the Cohen Brothers, the directors, are known for having plot holes, so that made it better. Then me and "the Phil" parted ways and I went back home and watched The Ghostbusters. Its been a good weekend and I finally made it back to church!!!!
I have tried to make it to church the past 3 weeks and the trains have made me sooo late I didnt even go in to the building but today I made it!!!!!!
ALso, My parents are coming up this week and I am sooooooooooo excited!!! Its been three months since I even looked at them so it should be a good week and with the strike going on, I have a little extra time to spend with them.
Jake and Sean, my fish, are doing quite well. They are messy though...they crap alot...maybe I feed them too much and I guess hamburgers arent the best thing to give fish...just kidding...or am I?
Ok so, its a pretty boring report but at least I didnt make you wait two weeks.
Till next time, keep it real homeys.

I strike, you strike, we all strike....yep...thats about what it seems
Ok, so I havent blogged in a while.....and Im sorry.
Well, lets see what else can I talk about...OH!!! There are two new additions to the Flowers family, Jake and Sean. They are goldfish who were featured in a magic trick performed by Penn and Teller on The Late Show. The trick used 135 goldfish so the fish were dispersed amongst various Late Show Staffers. My boss pampers his fish. He thinks the New York water would kill them so he puts them in Poland spring water....yeah...they are famous allright...my fish are in Brooklyn water and they seem to like it so we will keep it that way.
Lets see...on the celebrity watch, I met John Papelbon, the World Series closing pitcher for the Boston Redsox. Hes a nice guy but crazy hyper!!!!! Also I saw Olliver Platt (Simon Birch, Dr. Dolittle, Flatliners), Rachel Dratch (SNL and 30 Rock) and Seth meyers (SNL) all at the strike one day. Things were slow and we all thought it would be educational to go see what the picket lines looked like...dont worry..we had permission and no-one was violent.
Well, I dont have a whole lot more to report but I will keep up my blog more frequently for now on. I hope everyone is doing well in good ole GA. Miss you guys!!! Tyler
