So my first week at the Late show is over and I am pleased to say it has been quite the experience. I also have good news!!! I cant tell you what it is but on Friday my boss, Ryan, told me to search the internet for someone that could do a specific "Something" in the United States. I jumped on a computer and found a website and sent the link to Ryan. He then found what he needed from that website!! I was pretty stoked to be apart of the process. So keep and eye out for next Fridays show. I had a hand in getting the human interest guest.
The other interns and i went out to a place called the Rodeobar last night to celebrate our survival of the first week. The place had really good food and it was just really nice to get to hang out in our own element.
Today a few of us went to Rockefellar Center and went on the "Top of the Rock Tour". It was pretty cool. We went all the way to the top and was able to see the whole city. Its your typical tourist attraction but once we were at the top it hit once again that I was living the dream in one of the greatest cities in thew world with some of the nicest people Ive ever met.
I took a bunch of pictures and I have posted a video of us in the Rock elevator for you to enjoy below.
After the Rock we grabbed some New York style pizza (for the fifth time this week) and then watched the movie Superbad.
Wow. Thats really all I can say. I wont encourage anyone to see it but Im not gonna lie when I say I highly enjoyed it and its one of the funniest movies Ive seen in a long time.
Then we parted ways and hopped on the good ole F train to Brooklyn and stopped by the Church Ave. Restaraunt Cafe for some authentic Athenian Gyros and then concluded the evening with a three hour long phone call to parentals. Not a bad day. Till next time....uummmm...see ya.
