"I love the dark, I love the dark! But I hate nature, I hate nature!"

Hey wassup, Hows it goin? Of course you cant actually answer me so those questions I guess are rhetorical. Anyway, the show is on what is called "a dark week". We will not be taping any shows until Monday. The reason for this is that I dont feel like getting anyone coffee this week so they decided to not tape until I got everyone coffee. Just kidding, Of course. The real reason is that God said not to tape. Ok, so I guess the true reason is that they take a week off from taping every moth to get everything re-organized and relaxed around the office. Its been a good week so far. I was pretty busy on Tuesday but today was pretty slow.

One of my jobs for Tuesday was to go over to the CBS broadcast center to get a european formatted dvd (Pal) dubbed to an American format DVD (NTSC). It was pretty awesome getting to go in the central hub and I saw one of the cameras that was used in the first televised, presidential debate.

Once again, In the industry, I have found amazing people to work with. The guy that helped me out at CBS wished could give me a tour. He has so much passion about what he does and its good to be around people like that. Now, of course, once you hit a certain level in the business, there are some people who are not the friendliest.

Moving on, I have found a church and am trying to get involved in the video department. That will give me something free to do on the weekend and the people are so fun to be around.

Recently, I have become a fan of the television show, "Firefly". If you dont know what Firefly is then you must join the Browncoat independents in the fight against crappy T.V. Programming!! Basically what had happened was.....Firefly was on Fox for one season and then was cancelled. The network did not even give the show a chance. The show was then cancelled and fans ended loving the show so much that it spawned them to make the movie "Serenity". The show focuses on a crew who rely on any job that will pay them money, to survive. Its a mix between, Star Wars and any western movie. It is sooooo good!!!! I believe that if anyone watches at least three episodes they will realize how good the show is and will want more. So get hooked. It has an amazing cast also.

Oh and this weekend I am going to Baltimore with my friend Phil from the show. I will try and take some pictures and have some cool things to report.

Allright, I wish I could give you guys more crazy awesome New York stories but not a lot has happened. We have a human tricks segment on Monday though, so interesting things should happen soon. I hope you are all well and have a great rest of the week.

Baltimore (Bal-mer) is a lot of fun. Take the ferry to Fell's Point and eat at Eat Bertha's Mussels. Be sure to go in the bar and see the anagram bumper stickers. It's a reasonably priced and delicious seafood place. GO I MEAN IT. You won't regret it.

love you, Mom Dollar Tree Carter Hyphen Miller

Glad you're getting into Firefly! Adam got me hooked last year, but I don't think we ever finished watching all the episodes. . .

Anyways, glad you're making more contacts, having fun and settling in a little! Talk to ya lata!
